How Billing Works (Per-Instance)

Understanding AgentClaw's per-instance billing model

Overview

AgentClaw uses a simple per-instance subscription model. Each AI agent instance requires its own subscription.

Pricing

  • Monthly Plan: $9.99 per instance per month
  • Yearly Plan: $99.99 per instance per year ($8.33/month, save 17%)

All features are included in both plans with no limitations.

Per-Instance Billing

If you run multiple instances:

  • Each instance has its own subscription
  • Each subscription is billed separately
  • Example: 3 instances = 3 × $9.99 = $29.97/month
  • You can mix monthly and yearly subscriptions

What's Included

Your subscription covers:

  • Dedicated 1 GB RAM container
  • 24/7 uptime monitoring
  • Real-time logs and diagnostics
  • Environment variable encryption
  • Email notifications
  • All integrations (Telegram, Discord, etc.)
  • Email support

What's NOT Included

AI provider costs are separate:

  • OpenAI API usage (billed by OpenAI)
  • Anthropic API usage (billed by Anthropic)
  • OpenRouter usage (billed by OpenRouter)

You pay AI providers directly based on your usage (tokens processed).

Billing Cycle

  • Monthly: Charged on the same day each month (e.g., 15th)
  • Yearly: Charged once per year on subscription anniversary
  • Automatic renewal unless cancelled
  • Reminder email sent before renewal

Payment Processing

  • All payments processed through Stripe
  • We never store your payment details
  • Supports credit/debit cards
  • Automatic retry for failed payments

Prorating

No prorating: Billing is per full month or year.

  • Cancel anytime, service continues until period ends
  • Plus 3-day grace period after cancellation
  • No refunds for partial periods

Failed Payments

If payment fails:

  1. You receive an email notification
  2. Stripe retries automatically (up to 3 times)
  3. You have 3 days to update payment method
  4. If unresolved, instance is stopped after grace period
  5. Configuration preserved for 30 days

Invoices and Receipts

  • Automatic email receipt after each payment
  • Download invoices from Stripe Customer Portal
  • View billing history in Stripe portal
  • Request custom invoices from support (for businesses)
